Why Not Two Books?

Yesterday I woke up knowing that it was time to revisit my

first book project, a picture book: Vladimir's Christmas Gift.

 Here's the book's main character Vladi, one of our three awesome
Bengal cats.  Their daily adventures are posted here.

 I had written and story-boarded the book in 2009
when life interrupted, as it sometimes does.

This past year has been all about reclaiming things I had let go of,

and this book project is a big one for me, so why not give it a try?

One change is that instead of acrylics, I will be using ink and

watercolor in a journal format with the story surrounded by

artifacts including reference photos and other goodies.

It will be a nice complement to The Art of Christmas.
 

 And Vladi will be a constant reminder its time to work.
