Over the past week or so my cold mushed its way
into becoming bronchitis. No worries, its a great excuse
to sit back and enjoy spring blossoms and stars.
From my languid lawn chair draped in blankets and sweaters,
I can hear the birds and bees and enjoy the view.
This was the prettiest spring break and Easter
I can remember, gentle as can be.
The yellowed winter bamboo is already being replaced with
verdant new stalks.
And Oregon Grape blossoms are popping open as I write.
A new spring wonder has arrived, a gleaming barrette from
star maven Danielle of Little Love Letter Arts.
Seems like a sign of longer hair and clear skies ahead :).
