I was thumbing through art books and ran across this watercolor
of a room designed by Eleanor Brown in Designers on Designers.
I just love this room, I can tell its old, but its timeless too.
Eleanor Brown (1891-1991) was a designer who worked with
traditional furnishings and added a modern twist...
Vivid colors and prints hold their own with the classics.
Well, it didn't always work, but even here, there is a bit more
warmth and liveliness than the typical wooden library.
White rooms with rich features and splashes of jello colors.
Magic!
